Our advice about sleep for babies from 4 to 6 months
Since his first few weeks the distribution of sleep has changed considerably.
Your baby will now sleep 8 to 9 hours in succession during the night. With some exceptions, he no longer wakes for a bottle in the night.
In the daytime, he still sleeps between 1 and 2 hours in the morning and afternoon, sometimes more in the afternoon.
He is now sensitive to ambient light, to the rhythm of the day.
If your baby still has difficulty in going to sleep, or if he still does not sleep through the night:
Some babies wake particularly early. It is useless to put them to bed late, their internal clock is set.
On the other hand, you can place his favourite toys in his bed (if they are not dangerous when asleep): he will find them in the morning
and will perhaps delay the time that he wants to get out of his bed.
